The newest car seat from Maxi Cosi, the Rodi Air Protect. Maxi Cosi have just launched a new version of their Rodi car seat range, designed for children from 3.5 years of age until 12 years old. This new seat has all the great features of the Rodi but with the addition of AirProtect® technology.
AirProtect® technology has revolutionised child car safety, and fundamentally acts as a child-friendly airbag, built into your Rodi car seat for maximum efficiency, safety and practicality.
Statistics show that 1 in 4 car crashes involving children are side impact collisions, which by their nature pose more risks to children than either front or rear impact accidents. The simple reason for this is that there is a lot more car between your child and the point of impact in front and rear collisions than there is in side impact collisions. Extensive research has also shown that in accidents like this, the child's head is the most vulnerable part of the body.
The Maxi-Cosi Rodi AirProtect Child Car Booster Seat is a reclining child car booster seat available in a choice of colours, the Rodi XR car seat is suitable for children weighing over 15kg until around 12 years of age.
The Rodi AP Air Protect car booster seat is fitted into the car using the base provided, when the seat is secured it is possible to recline the Rodi AP child car seat to a comfortable, relaxed position for the child. The headrest with air cushions to each side to add to the protection during side impacts. The Rodi AP Air headrest can be raised as the child grows to maintain optimum protection.
Versatile Child Car Seat
The Rodi AP AirProtect child car booster seat can be divided into 2 pieces to make transportation easier, and can be used as a booster cushion - although it is always recommended that the back section remain in place to protect the head and neck during a side impact.
Colour Choice
The Rodi AP AirProtect is available in a range of colours to please both boys and girls and even Dad's! The colours are reflected throughout the Maxi Cosi car seat collection so can be co-ordinated with the Cabriofix infant car seat and the Priori range of toddler seats in case you are fitting more than one seat from the range in your car.
